    New ENO JungleNest

    Hey Everyone,

I would be interested in your ideas about this new ENO product. Looks like not a bad deal for $70 thru Labor Day. Do you think it competes with hammocks in the same feature range?

Hi Dave, How tall are you? This hammock is only 9'3" long which is a little on the short size.
Good price if one is looking for hammocks for the family.

Derek did a little review on it. Go to theultimatehang.com or his Facebook page and check it out. I went to rei to check it out but it was sold out due to the sale.

OutandBack...I am thinking of collecting more hammocks for the family. I have two that are big enough for me, but was thinking that this would be great for my wife who is only 5' tall. My kids are all little right now as well and the price on this is attractive.

SLCpod...thanks for the link to Derek's review. That was hugely helpful.

We have an REI near us and they are running 30% off of ENO gear, so I was considering this or a single nest, because of the price point. I realize they are two different animals and I am not totally in love with ENO gear, but the price is good and my kids are bugging me to get them out backpacking again and I can't bear the thought of another night on the ground.

Hi Dave, I like your reasoning. I paid 60 for my first ENO double and it did not come with a bug net.
Looks like a pretty good deal to me.

A lot of people really like that ENO JungleNest or the older model? If within a year you find something significantly better or it fails your kids or wife you can return it to REI and use the credit for something else, Or perhaps they put $ back on you Credit Card, I cannot remember. I have been a member of REI for a very long time but not bought much from there recently. Basically only a deep discount if I REALLY need it or that is what I tell my wife. I like both integrated and simple hammock without a net but if you only have gear space and budget for one get one with net built in, should be most cost effective and open/shut one handed.

Amazing deal in my mind if you are on the short side or for the wife. It's too short for me so I started making my own. But I like the ENO products on a whole and wouldn't let that deal by otherwise.

I have 2 JungleNests, love them, the built in bug net makes it easy, i had a eno double nest and had a bug net, .. with the junglenest, setup is way faster, if u wont want to use it, flip it over or to the side. easy, peasy..

im only 5' 9" so the size is fine for me, a good friend of mine is 6' 2" and has one, he seems to like it. quality is great, im sure there are better ones, more expensive ones, but for 70 bucks, great deal, no matter how
    you spin it.

I replaced my suspension with whoopie's, best mod u will ever do is to upgrade your suspension. just my .02.
