looking into upgrading mine sense i got new HH DJXL
will need 8 if i use the blast doors tarp alone has 6 tie outs.

MSR Groundhogs work for me.

I just use regular MSR GroundHog stakes but will probably upgrade to titanium spikes next year.

Owning a screen and window company...I took some extruded alum. screen frame and made my stakes. They are 1/8 oz lighter than the MSR and twice as strong.
thinking of making a line for sale... will in form all if it comes about...
None. I tie off to other trees, rocks, roots, whatever. On occasion I will push a stick into the ground.

I also tie off on other things, but use stakes too. I have used sticks, but don't often anymore since I got MSR groundhogs.
If the MSR are too pricey, coughlans makes an equivalent that's a bit cheaper.

Vargo Y stakes...generic groundhogs. They work better in thick forest duff than the titanium skewers.
a combination of msr groundhogs for loose soil, and some snow peak titanium nail pegs fpr hard/rocky/frozen ground....
