I'd like to do it. Im up for sections, scouting, thru. If it fits into my schedule im game. I live within 1.5hr or so. If you are interested in going with someone let me know. I plan on takinhg my kids on it one day. I'd like to get some practice on it.
I have been on the Knobstone Trail numerous times and like the posts are mentioning that if has been raining you should be ok with the water issue...it is a tuff trail..a buddy and I did 18 miles on it on one day but and it was hard and getting to old for that ...will not do that again....if no rain I would put out some water...we cached just one place which really came in handy. It is a great trail to hike and I am sure you will love it...enjoy.

Here's a few links I've been keeping an eye on, that might be of some hep, if you haven't already run across them.

http://knobstonetrail.freeforums.org...trail-f11.html (Not much action, but waypoint, compass, GPS, and older trail/campsite/trailhead descriptions)

Thanks Rolloff for the links.
Someone's really screwed with the KT Freeforums site. Maria and her friend have loaded 100's of bridal announcements in practically every thread. You can either go to the "Last" page to find trail info or ask and I'll ferret it out somehow. the GPS Coords are still good, but this one looks handy so I'll make the link directly to the Trail Description. Remember this is somewhat dated and all info before the Henryville Tornado tore up Clark Co, and the southern terminus.
So to keep a good thread active, a little trail eye-candy

Hey guys. I've been MIA for a while. Full time student, Resident Assistant (RA), member of Res-Life organization, NWTF club, Biology club, earth science club, and doing an internship, women , etc.. really keeps me busy. Still planning on doing this hike though, can't wait!
I believe good gets better.
Myself and 2 others recently completed the KT, we started South and went North. ANYONE who says round knob is the killer hill certainly didn't go further north. That is the Hill from Hell.
Had a great time, creeks were running fine, and the ponds we found were clear. we packed everything with us for the entire trail.
The only Easy day was yesterday.
