DD or Snugpak UQ?

Hi all,

New to hanging and wondering if anyone has experience of both the DD and Snugpak UQ?

The seem very similar but the DD is half the price. I know you generally pay for what you get but just curious if anyone has tried both or at least each one for some user advice.

I have a HHS explorer deluxe zip and based in UK and wanting to camp all year round!

I don't know what DD has done in terms of their product sourcing during the past few years, but the first uq I ever got was from there, and it was actually made by Snugpak. It worked just fine. But I don't know if DD decided along the way to start cloning them at lower cost or smth, because that's already some four-five years ago or so.

Thanks, that's what I read. DD used to sell the snugpak quilts but now have their own at half the price! It's very similar to the snugpak but with a slightly different suspension system! Really keen to see if it's just as warm as snugpak with it being £50 less!

I was saving up for the Snugpak UQ when the DD version was released, so I bought it straight away. So although I've no experience on Snugpak I am perfectly happy with the DD, keeping me plenty warm.

Thanks as was hoping someone had the DD version! I might have an opportunity to a snugpak for the same price so will see how that goes first but good to know the DD is still good enough for UK weather! Do you know how cold you gave gone in it?
