Wow, I don't know how I missed this thread, getting old I guess?

aclawrence, I find my NO to be more comfortable for side sleeping. I think the Slightly heavier 1.5 material is more substantial feeling and helps me feel "flatter" when I side sleep. My LO is comfortable side sleeper also, so maybe I'm splitting hairs but I just prefer the feel of the 1.5 NO.
To me the NO is a little more comfortable when lounging around.
If a few extra grams aren't an issue I would recommend the Night Owl.

Above all, Get out there with your Dad and make some great memories!

I'm a side sleeper and love my Lite Owl. It's super comfortable sleeping in any position. Can't sleep laying on my back too long...I'll wake myself up snoring!

Hey guys thanks for all the responses. Bob, I'm grateful to my Dad for all the outdoor memories I have with him and I'm looking forward to getting him into a new hobby. We used to have our own hunting club but eventually let it go and he has kind of lost the fever for hunting. This will give us a chance to reconnect outdoors.

It looks like it's a toss up between the two owls. Does anyone else have an opinion as far as the lay of the two owls comparatively? I've had nothing but good experiences with Wilderness Logics so far so I'm happy to send more business their way.
    Thanks,
    Andrew
