I said I think it costs me $150 in materials to make one.. If I was going to make more of these I would want to make a few not just one. It makes it more cost effective.

Gary, I would be interested in a hardware kit. I think I am going to try to make something this or next month. Still thinking on a wheel option for no snow areas. I'll let you know what if anything I come up with.

Alright I gotta ask. Are there snow mobile trails around? Or is the campsite off of one. I got a wild hair idea to fatbike up to the Hang but not quite sure if it would work or if it would just be a waste of time. I'd probably go fatbiking around before or after the Hang as well but just wondering what the trail situation up there is.

    Thanks,
    Vince

its at a 'closed' campground. snowmobiles cruise the area- quite popular with the machines. the road hike into the campground hammock area is usually mashed with their tracks. at least until the campground breaks away at a junction, down toward the lake---when the snowmobile trails head away.

fat bike could work. especially if the lake actually freezes this year.

I don't know that we have ever set a limit on the white Elephant.. Don't go crazy.. I think the $10 range is reasonable.
