I suggest checking the road condition just before leaving home. Conditions change fairly quick, it seems snow is spotty this year, however, it is anyone's guess what conditions will be like for the Hang.
Part of the charm of living or Hanging in Oregon is the flexible weather!
Road Conditions are really changeable, I just check before I leave, then hope the report is correct.
There pretty good about keeping the roads plowed so they don't get really bad unless a large storm hits. With chains or other traction devices you wont have any issues.
The road into the campsite is usually all groomed and packed my snowmobiles..
There is still plenty of time for snow to build up, either way there will be enough for the sleds to work.

I just found you all and wish I could join!!! Heading to New Hampshire that weekend of the yeti trip. I'll keep checking in to make it to the next one. Have fun up there!!
I've seen off road bikes on the lake, the trails for those things are real compact to a point. If you bring a quad you may find we might daisy chain our pulks to it. The campground itself may not be ideal for a quad though as the snowmobiles go around it not through it.
Being that the main complaint about the site is the snowmobiles.. I don't think we need to add more motorized noise to the mix.. Just my opinion.

18 days now? Whooo buddy!
Questions:
I'm "assuming" that tenters are welcome as well? Have a couple friends that want to attend but don't have UQs and are more prepared for ground operations.
Is someone reserving the entire camp grounds? Or is there no fee because it's "off season"?
Are there any other charges (sans parking pass) associated with the weekend?
I see the map says there are 32 "camp sites" (hopefully buried in snow ) and people end-up congregating around 1 of them? (just going off Jerry's videos on YT).
I'm super excited! I've been working hard getting gear together for this event!!!
