    And it is purple!

I spent some time this morning putting together a DIY table cloth hammock. Used Dutch clip with Dutch Strap on it with a whoopie sling adjustable ridgeline (I will replace it with a non adjustable once I get it dial in). This one will be tossed into my camper so I have something to lounge around on at family functions.

Once I was completed this is how I spent a few hours this afternoon! 78F/low humidity/good book. It does not get better than this.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question but what exactly does the ridge line do for a DIY tablecloth hammock. I thought it was just to keep the mosquito netting off your face on a camping hammock

A structural ridge line (SRL) is used to give a consistant sag for any gathered end hammock.

What Trail Runner said. I also use mine for hanging things using a RL bag or with the case of my e-reader I just fold it over the RL. If/when I used netting on this hammock I will hang it above the SRL.

Kind of rude of me not to comment on the OP when I answered Bstomper above... nice hammock! You can't go wrong with purple. What camera did you use for the pic? All of the pics of my purple hammocks look blue with my camera.

Thanks. I snapped it with my cell phone. On my laptop it looks purple. On my desktop it looks blue...go figure

I like the idea of having one in the camper. What size tablecloth did you use. BTW thanks for the ridgeline info.
