    Hammock Kit

I built this hammock for a friend, who never said they were a stomach sleeper. So he's ordered himself a bridge hammock, spindrift, and down UQ to match it. I'm selling this on his behalf.

    Included in this sale is:

    • 10' Single Layer HyperD 1.6 Hammock in OD green, with Multicam accents, OD Netting, RL Organizer, Peak bag, Bishop Bag. Includes the cinch buckles. Netting zips down to the end to stow in the peak bag at the bottom when not in use.
    • A Brand New, Never Used Warbonnet Sock in Multicam

The Multicam Bishop Bag will hold the Sock and Hammock together, for easy carry and deployment when the weather calls for the sock.
For the sake of clarity : Jarbridge and straps shown in pictures have been removed from this sale
    Weights:
    Hammock with Bishop Bag/peak Bag/Rl Organizer: 21oz
    Sock: 15oz

    $225 Shipped CONUS

Forgive the pictures, it's grey and nasty out, and my camera phone bites. I'll take better pics with the DSLR tomorrow if needed.

    From Warbonnet:

    Travel Sock:

The Travel sock is a large sack made of breathable fabric that the hammock hangs inside of. It's identical to our Travel Net in design and dimensions and only differs in the fabric used. This is used mainly in cold weather to block more wind and increase inside temperature by around 15degF. It can be used with our Blackbird and Traveler series hammocks or any end-gathered hammock up to 10’ body w/101”

not necessarily for cold weather... You could use it down there in the coldest temps to extend the life of a 40° quilt system. I keep one (a DIY) in my car camping kit for when the weather man is just dead wrong.

But no, not a tarp replacement.

Warbonnet socks are not rain-proof. You need a tarp if it's going to rain or snain (snow+rain). However, they present a lower wind profile than a tarp in high winds and add 15-20*F of warmth to your hammock setup.

If you decide to break it apart I would be interested in the Warbonnet sock. Thanks
