My PLUQ (no sew) and Turtledog stands

Just finished my PLUQ following Derek's illustration. Only made one small cut where I didn't need to.

I've got a handmade hammock I picked up for $35 in Belize quite a few years back. WBBB is due in tomorrow, so I figured I finish this so I was ready!

Any tips for hanging the WBBB the Turtledog stand?

    Looks good!

Looks like you're getting ready. Can't wait for the weather to cool to get back out there!

wbbb's like the foot end to be 10 or so inches higher than the head.
You might want to shorten the foot end pole rope on the stand.

It is a direct relationship? Meaning do I need to shorten the rope 10 inches or some fraction of ten inches. Also, will it through the stand off balance having one end higher? Seems like it would try to equal out the offset. But physics isn't my thing. Only class I ever failed!!

Your goal is to have the footend 10 or so inches higher that the head end. How to achieve that is up to you.
You could raise the foot end rope 5" and lower the headend 5"
Remember it's just a starting place.
Most folks that use wbbb hammocks on trees like having the footend higher by 6-12"
    hth

Can you see in this picture of my wbbb how the foot end is higher?

The camera angle might be exaggerating the angle a little note the tarp RL is not level in the picture but you get the idea I hope.

If you take a nap in your lvl wbbb and wake with your feet jammed into the foot box that will be you first clue to raise the footend, haha
best of luck and can't wait to see some picts.
