I give mine a visual inspection from time to time. They go a long time. Not much you really need to do other than milk your bury and let them dry.

"Milking" in reference to a whoopie sling, refers to the process of pulling or sliding the slack out of the section of your whoopie sling that has the bury inside it. After adjusting the slings, this section has a tendency to bunch up. If not "milked", the whoopie usually slips a little
If the first reply is from Shug, (with all due respect to other long-time hammockers), all discussion should end....
But after a few years of constant use, check them out about every month for wear and tear and you should be good to go.
