I've written to the Smithsonian in Washington, DC, asking how one might submit artifacts to the American History Museum.
Dutch's gear is so unique and so quintessentially American that I think many years from now it will be legendary.
I'd be willing to donate a few dollars and do the paperwork if Dutch wants to send in a collection of his work.

I would be shocked but so honored if the Smithsonian even considered it. Actually it would be a non-stop party at Dutchware Headquarters. Crystal, who does my shipping, hates it when I have parties and would surely quit. I would have to start doing the shipping again which would end the party.

As a wise man once said "If woman don't find you handsome at least they'll find you handy." Hang in there.
If you'll write up a brief history, Dutch, of how you got into this business, including any set-backs or challenges that you faced. Also, tell about yourself personally -- where you were born and raised, what you did for a living before doing this full time, you know, some biographical material. Could you put your how-to videos all on one CD? A graph of your sales numbers would be interesting.
We'll list your hardware on this site in a few days and individuals can pay for them to go into the box through your web site. They will notify me of what they sponsored as we do in the "for sale" section and inform you by leaving a note in the shipping instructions, "For the Smithsonian."
When I'm through with a cover letter and the forms in a few weeks I'll send them to you to put in the box.
