    full time hammock sleeping issues

Just curious if sleeping in a hammock full time can cause any posture issues or other issues for that matter. When I sleep in my hammock my back pain completely goes away, so it cant be that bad I'm guessing, so full time has crossed my mind. Even when I sleep in my bed I almost always have some degree of pain while sleeping and when I wake up. I have grown to deal with it but if a hammock will help, it is something I will definately consider.

I've been sleeping in a hammock for a whole year now. I will never go back to a bed. No issues thus far.
    I'd rather be hanging.

I have been searching the web for medical reviews about the subject but have found nothing. There are some good articles about why hammocks help you get a better and deeper sleep. Those are good but nothing about backs. I guess if it feels do it!!!

I still like my bed, but whenever my back hurts, I move to the hammock, where I've been sleeping for the last four months.

Been reading tons of posts on here about back issues and hammocks and almost all of them are the same as my story. I will definatly sleep in my HH a bit more to see if I am going to like it, but for a full time hammock what is out there that will sleep like my HH explorer deluxe asym.

I certainly wouldn't look for a full-time hammock that sleeps like a camping hammock - the whole zipper thing inside the house would drive me crazy. I use a tablecloth hammock - it's not a Mayan or Brazilian but is plenty comfy indoors.

Getting close to two years now for me. I used to wake up with a sore back. Haven't in two years, 'cept when I sleep in a bed.

Been fulltime for a little over a month now. Like the others, I'm sleeping better and no more sore back or knees in the mornings. I'm in a 90x156 table cloth.

I started with my HHDJ, but felt silly with a bug net in the house. Then used my "Big Green Weenie", a DIY 12' x 64" channel end, but it was getting to hard to take it down and set it back up every time I wanted to go camping.

So now I've made this one:

And a top quilt to go with it:

I'm going to make another one, though. That one is 54" wide and I feel a bit confined.
