I am new to the forum, but not new to hammock camping. I started about a decade ago with a Hennessy Hammock, Snap-on Spiff version. The Snap-on Spiff was not the best indicator of what a HH was good for, the tarp was too small and the netting was weak, but it got me started. I currently use a HH Explorer Ultralight Asym Classic with a Hex Tarp. I also own a HH Hyperlight that I use for lounging at the cabin. My hammock camping is combined with kayaking on Lake Superior and in Voyageurs National Park. I do some teaching of camping, kayaking, tarp and knot skills. I lurked for a while on the forum and then took the plunge and became a supporting member. It is good to be here. I hope to contribute as much as I get from the forum.
