How long is the short? Also I have a big agnes encampment 15 if you're interested in some sort of trade.

Assuming it's just a normal "short" length, they start as 69" long.
Sewing the footbox closed uses up about 4" of length. So 65" of length left,

I have one of these in a standard length and it's fantastic. Fairly easy to vent when it's warmer out and plenty of quilt down to below freezing temps. With normal clothing it has easily took me to the rated temps, and when wearing a warmer hooded top I've pushed it a couple degrees colder while staying toasty warm(not just not-cold).

I am 5'7 and fits just right for me.

I think I remember reading on Hammock Gear.com when I bought it that 5'7 was the max height for the short length.

No it is their standard material prior to argon. It is a very soft material.
