    Cool, I'll try and get there as close to 10 as I can as well. It's what, about 3 hours from Charlotte to Hot Springs? It looks like it's about 2 hours from here in Shelby to Hot Springs. I'm counting down till Friday!!!

    Yup. I'll be there thursday morning. Probably hit the trail southbound till I find a campsite that night. You can usually find somewhere for a hammock within the first half mile out of town.

    OKay! Who ordered a weekend with weather that looks wet??? NTW, is anyone bringing a large tarp for a cooking shelter??? Do we need rope/lines, a ladder to get high enough for tie-off, etc., etc., etc.

    Ed will have probably 3 pop-up covers (EZ-UP type). Plenty of room for most of us to hang out under during any rain. At least, for those who don't retire to their hammocks to nap in the rain. Beyond that, I will have a couple blue tarps and tall tent poles that we can use to extend Ed's shelter.
