My family will be there with our Egg Roll camper that sprouts hammocks. We'll be in the adjacent campsite like we were before, just beyond the part of Ed's site where everyone parks.

Bring your own beverages. You will need to provide your own meals, except for the hot dog roast on Saturday, but we usually have a community breakfast on Saturday morning (there will be a sign up sheet posted later). There are a couple of restaurants near the campground we tend to frequent. Bring cash for the silent auction. But beware of hangers starting bidding wars. There is no schedule for the weekend, just prepare to have a good time. The AT runs by the campground and there is short loop just across the river from the camp. Also, if you forget something, there is an outfitter there in town.

If you want to eat in town, Smoky Mountain Diner is a Hot Springs institutiion serving up good food, big portions and very fair prices. Rock bottom is a new restaurant that opened in the spring and has burgers, pub grub, a pretty good beer list and is owned by my friends Keith and Melissa. There is a new place called the Iron Horse Cafe, but I haven't eaten there yet. It's my understanding, however, that it's a bit on the pricey side.

Not a big deal, they handle us everytime with no problems. Good folks, good food, good times. What more to ask?
