My wife, The Terminator, has used a 3/4 length Jarbidge and and Phoenix UQ on her RR's ( she has a netted and a non netted ). She got a FL Lynx UQ for her RR's and loves it.
She tried a pad for a few nights and did not like it plus she had problems with condensation.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !
The condensation issue varies with the humidity levels at whereever you are hanging. This can be addressed somewhat by using a cotton sheet over the pad (e.g., within the double layers, if you have that version of the RR). Here in the PNW, where humidity is generally much less than in the southeast US, I don't notice much condensation. I like the pad in my RR mainly because it widens out the "bed", so to speak.
The widening affect was felt by me last night as well. I found that I can actually sleep on my stomach in the Ridgerunner if there is a pad in there. It takes a little fanangling with my arms to get comfy but it's definitely a nice change of pace of the ole back is hurting or even to just get a stretch.
This was my bed last night.IMG_1818.jpg
