I've used gold bond powder on my hands and arms to try and keep the down from clinging to me. Worked better than not using anything. You should have seen my dog's nose!!!
I'm thinking it could take me into the high 40's -low 50's. I'm hoping so anyway. I plan on making a heavier one after testing how this one functions in the cold. I'll have to wait till fall to do some real testing. I'm showing 98 deg on the thermometer right now. The nights don't get far below 80 this time of year.

I used 3.1 oz of Speer's 900 fp down. Think I should beef it up with another 0.5-1 oz down?
