Looks like I have a kitchen pass to camp this weekend. Where and what time are people meeting?

P.S. Your latest trip video makes me sad because the colors may be past peak this weekend
We will be just across the dam and down the trail. Look for non-descript signage. I will be there in the AM, and after setting up camp will be doing day hikes weather depending. 12's latest trip was farther north, so we still might have some good colors this weekend.
I will keep an eye out for you Joe.

My Trail log: http://ducttapeadk.blogspot.com/
OH MAN! Got plans for this weekend. That place is great to camp. I was there with a group the end of June. I was a ground dweller that weekend. It was my first experience seeing camping hammocks. 5 other guys in the group had them. That's when it all began. We stayed right next to the dam. Fishing was poor to my surprise. Jerks from across the way push my kayak in the water in the middle of the night. Fortunately the kayak got stuck on the rocks just at the bottom of the falls. If not for that I never would have got it back. It would have floated down stream and I would have thought someone stole it. But other than that experience it was awesome!
I'm envious. The colors are going to be exploding. I'll think clear skies for you folks.
Is there anything like the ADK's in the fall?
DuctTape and I are planning on doing a Low Country Boil for everyone on Saturday night for dinner (Potatoes, Sausage, Corn, Shrimp). We still need to figure out something for breakfast on Sunday as well. To help us understand how much food to purchase for Saturday night, could those that know they are attending please let Russ or myself know today or tomorrow? Thanks everyone, this is going to be a blast!

Awesome get together. Thanks to Rob, Kevin, Russ and Ian for all the advice and camaraderie. Learned a lot about hanging in cold temps. HG Phoenix 40° and North Face Lynx 40° did fine down to low 30°'s. But looks like that is the limit for that set up. Scored a nice beer bottle alcohol stove - Thanks Rob. Look forward to next year.

I agree Joe, it was a fun time. We hope to make this an annual event (moving the timing to summer) and growing the number of participants.
Thanks again!
