Talking Adding The WBRR To The Collection!

Just jumped back on the WBRR bandwagon.... this will be my third one over the last couple years. I've switched from the WBRR to DIY bridge hammocks back and forth. There are some things that I just love about the DIY bridge hammocks, and yet there is still something to be said about the extremely well thought out and executed WBRR. So as we attempt to outfit the entire family (wife and 4 kids) with hammocks, we're adding the WBRR back to the collection! Now the waiting game starts!

Get one more and we will be tied. Hoping to built a bridge used your instructions but it is about 2 or 3 DIY projects down the list. My wife has a RR and loves it. She prefers to spend the night in her BB but thinks the RR is the best afternoon napping hammock she has tried. That's her BB behind her.

My thread injecting skills are too weak to attempt sewing anything that takes significant weight. I have sewn up several sets of tree straps but a bunch of back and forth zig-zags are even within my skillset. Are the kids getting their own bridge hammocks or gathered end models? My sons both love laying in their tablecloth hammocks and find the WBRR kind of "tippy".

When did you order yours? Wondering if mine will be here in time for my hang in two weeks.

    HikingDad,

What would be the pros and cons, in your opinion, of each, WBRR and DIY?

Dang! A friend of mine ordered his September 6th and still hasn't received a shipping notice...email response from Brandon was unsatisfying, "The ridge runner has a 3 week wait time." - it's been 4 weeks.

He's hoping it shows up before Thursday for our next trip.

Congrats on your bridge hammock. If I wasn't 310 lbs, I'd get one.
