    Bannock Point Camp

Last weekend i met a couple of young friends at Bannock Point on Slocan Lake. They were going to the Garlic festival north of here the next day so we decided to meet up and play some music by the lake.

Now this is Matti and Sarah's HH Expedition that they both sleep in. They liked the precariousness of this spot Needless to say they are skinny, young, and in love, (-:

This is early evening looking southish. I didn't get a good shot but at about nine o'clock we sat on the beach under the stars with incredible mt. reflections in the lake and played music.

That is some beautiful pictures! I can see why you want to live in that area. There looks like lots of hiking in the mountains and fish in the water.

    Thanks everyone for your comments.
O&B, we never record our music in the woods ,in fact i rarely play music while i'm out as nature seems to be enough, but knowing i was going camping with a couple of mbira players i took one along and we had a good time. Its going to get exciting around here for a while as one of the best teacher/players of mbira is flying in today and is staying for a month .
