I hear everyone talk about wool and want to prepare for comfort outside the hammock.

I recently saw some available at Scheels in Fargo but that is about all I've seen.

Where can I get a good product listing of wool bobs and jackets for outdoor use?

one of my favorite winter garments is the wool capote from sportsman's guide: http://www.sportsmansguide.com/produ...gray?a=1024616

I got the 4XL and it's absolutely perfect for around camp at winter. And the 4XL is perfect for going over lots of layers. (I'm 6'4" and around 250ish lbs)

The biggest thing I invested in are Filson Mackinaw field pants, and suspenders for them. They have a bunch of other great wool stuff too, none of it cheap. I also have piles of SmartWool socks and a few Pendleton wool shirts that I got for a steal on eBay. I don't have one, but a few people at last year's hang were sporting the Lester River boreal shirt.

There isn't a complete list of wool items, and there are as many "best" items as hammock choices. The above posts have some great choices, here are a couple more that I use.

G Fred also has a pull over with an outside pocket it's at the bottom of the page.
Also check out military surplus. I have some great wool items that I picked up at Fleet Farm for decent prices.

Not certain if my daughter and I will make it, but we're thinking about it! Smiling Face (wifey) has a birthday that always conflicts with this hang.

Just in case we cannot make it, I'll be glad to contribute a 25% Frozen Butt Hanger discount on Canvas Gear for Deep Cold: Hammock Socks, Anoraks and Mukluks!

I am sorry, I have been very busy of late, and so not able to keep up on HF. To throw my two cents, and here they are, I would VERY much like to have the hammock hang at Greenwood Lake, and the lake is stocked and has reasonably good stats. Google earth shows the parking lot very clear and it would easily accommodate 20+ vehicles. I have a couple of ice houses and a hand auger that I would be more than willing to allow for use. There is my two cents, dwell on them and use them how they best suit.
