We had to turn the A/C on last January for a couple of days. 80 degrees is hot when you're used to 40s.
Chicago...ummm.....they have good pizza!
But, it does bring up another side of this discussion. Humidity can have a massive effect on relative comfort. 30F in this arid climate feels like about 50F on the east coast. That in itself allows me to go 'colder' with less gear out here. So, a person considering themselves to be a mildly cold sleeper might just find they are a warm sleeper out here (based on gear ratings alone).
