Very excited to put this into action!
Going to try hanging both my WBBB and my WBRR for the girlfriend under this one at the same time!
Also, I already have the 0 degree incubator UQ, and I love it!
Thank you!

Really really want to get one of those to play around with.
While I know it's a selling point to many, the translucence of the regular cuben I'm concerned wouldn't give me quite the feeling of privacy I'm looking for. The camo pattern looks like it'd help with that some, for a minimal weight bump.
The tiny bit of extra width and the incredible lightness though...
I know it's going to happen eventually, just... not today. Already spent plenty on some custom quilts from HG a week ago.
Hrm, if any of the Eastern Great Lakes group happen to visit this thread, any of you have one of these that I might see at some future hang? Maybe make shadow puppets behind and see if you can figure out what they are?
Here's my thoughts on cuben fiber tarps - they're hiking tarps. If you're hiking during the day (as hikers do), then the translucency is of no concern whatsoever. Privacy is something for day hangers, and I don't hang in the day, ever (not that I have a modest bone in my body anyway).
However, if you're a car camper, or one who lounges around in a hammock all day, then there is absolutely no reason to buy a cuben fiber tarp (other than the cool factor). If your objections to cuben fiber are 1) no privacy; or 2) doesn't block out UV rays and is a lousy shade tarp, well I see no reason for you to buy a cuben fiber tarp. You'll probably do fine with a PU coated polyester tarp.

My camo Cuben winter tarp blocks quite a bit more uv than my reg Cuben tarp. I can see my hammock through my reg Cuben tarp but I can't see anything through my camo tarp and when the sun is up ther is a big difference between them.
