Thumbs up ViDEO: Hammock Happiness on the Superior Hiking Trail, Minnesota PART 1

My Summer show season is winding down so I headed up to the Superior Hiking Trail here in Northern Minnesota for a couple of nights of sweet and long hammock sleep in the piney woods.
Filled a gap between Gooseberry River and Split Rock River that I have never walked yet.
Some walking, some talking, show my hammock, JRB Hudson River TQ, Frankenquilt and some general hammock chit-chat and palaver.
Filmed with my Canon ELPH 110HS and a bit of GoPro.

    Whoooooo Buddy))))))

Always look forward to watching your video's Shug,
My 7 year old has taken to yelling whoooo Buddy)))) whenever we go hiking. Hope to get out with him this weekend. My pack is always sooo much heavier when I take him. But worth the extra sweat and pain in the end.

    Cheers

Love the videos, Shug. Your mushroom shot looks like ours from just yesterday during our first hammock over nighter on the Loyalsock Trail Link Loop in PA. I had to catch myself from yelling out, "Whooo Buddy!" many times. If only there was some kind of "royalty" you could collect from all of us!!

Wife and I did that section last September for the exact same reason. Lovely little bit of trail. We were a bit worried when we hit the Split Rock and passed party after party of backpackers. By some miracle got up to the north end of the loop and all camp sites were open. Finally got to stay at the northern most site right before the bridge. Excellent excellent site with hanging potential. Except I was with the wife which meant I was hugging the dirt again. Anyway another reason why fall is my favorite season. Shug's show schedule is over and we get us some mighty fine trip reports and entertaining videos. Thanks man. Every time I see there's a new video it makes my day. A born showman you are sir.

Great video, Shug. Always enjoy them and appreciate the effort you go through to make them top notch.

Gooseberry on a Sunday afternoon is not for the faint of heart from Memorial Day to the end of the autumnal color season. Crazy crowds.
If your lucky enough to be outdoors, your lucky enough!

To walk or lay in the hammock. Sadly and to my shame, that is no contest.....lay in the hammock. Nice trip. Surely wish I was in that area right now. Beautiful country. As always, thanks for sharing.

Another fine video Shug. I hate to see the time counting down to the end, but when the "to be continued" note pops up, I know that I have something to look forward to tomorrow. Thanks for taking us along.

I am going to hang a flat screen on the wall next to my Hammock so I can watch SHUG while laying in my hammock. Always look forward to the videos. Keep em coming.
