Well, weather is starting to cool off. I know it's a bit short notice, and no idea if this will fly or not, but figured I'd throw this out there to see if there's any interest?

Mrs Owl may come out on this run with us. She's slept in a hammock once with no long term ill effects, so she's game to try it again. Weasel may come out as well...don't think this conflicts with a drill date for him.

Out at the Woodridge Primitive/Public Use area on the West side of Clinton Lake, near Stull/Lawrence, KS.

Dudorino has indicated he's down with that...anyone else?

My dad and I may come out Saturday. I think he met some of you when he went camping out there with our old yellow lab (last March, I think).
I bought him a diy tablecloth hammock and diy curtain bugnet off of here and I think he's looking to upgrade.

I remember a guy mentioning that his son was an HF member...had an old yellow lab that was real friendly. Come on out and hang! I don't know if my wife will come out on this run or not yet...which may be the determining factor for if I setup at the trailhead, or about 3/4ths of a mile in on the right hand path, down by the lake. I will post here and on FB both when I find out what her plans are, and decide where to setup at. Ramenshaman noted he'll probably be onsite around 7pm Friday...and I know he knows the site well enough to find me out there.

I really need to get out in the woods...some stress relief time for sure.
