WB traveler vs Dutch Argon vs ?? where to start

when you look in the dictionary under hammock noob...my picture is in there. Actually, I'm a preemie. I'm drooling overall of this gear, videos, etc, and I'm excited to begin. Rather than debating everything (SL vs DL, and which one...how to stay warm etc), I'd like some input on single layer hammocks. I will be starting off with "fair" weather camping with an UQ (I'll get one this year).
I'm considering either a WB traveler or one of Dutch's Argon hammocks. I live in NM, am about 6'1" and 200lbs. if you were me, what you buy and why?

I'd get the Dutch argon since you're on the tall side for a 10' hammock.

11'x60" hammocks are all the rage these days. I have 3 (1 open, 1 bugnet, 1 winter cover) an love them. I'll never go back to a 10'er.

Might want to look at the WBBB XLC. You'd get a bug net that removes to create an 11' Traveler. That said the Dutch 11' hammock is priced well and, if I did not already own a Traveler and XLC, would be hard to pass up.

I have 2 - 11 foot hammocks that I use for camping and a 10 footer as my full time sleeper. The 10 footer is going to get replaced by an 11 shortly.

I'm approximately your size and weight.... you won't regret the 11' option from Dutch....easy investment @ $30. After that, make sure you are able to sleep comfortably in a gathered end hammock. If you find yourself struggling to get comfortable on your side, etc... you may want to consider a bridge hammock system. If you can sack out in the gathered end like so many here - the 11' argon is a great platform to build around. Confirming that the gathered end is for you can save you lots of time and money as you build your kit.

One other thing to consider as you get started: are you backpacking or car camping? Most of the expensive, high-end stuff for hammocks is to facilitate compact and lightweight backpacking. If you are car camping you can be really comfortable for a fraction of the money.

I am looking for gear to backpack. I'm sure we will be car camping, but the primary reason is to backpack.

Dutch is going to be hard to beat for the price. I took the inexpensive route in case hammock camping wasn't for me. I do like to lounge though.

The Dutch argon hammock does not come with a suspension correct? That might be overlooked by a new member.
