I am 6' tall and about 220 and have the standard bbxlc dl and find it very comfortable to lay on my left side or my right side as well .the double layer is still very light and comfortable . I think you will be happy .

I have a double 1.7 and feel it is overkill. It's a bit bulky and heavy when packed and wish I would have gone lighter. It is my first hammock so I guess I can be excused for underestimating the material strength. I attended my first group hang this first weekend and I am still shocked that those little tiny slings and fabric that everyone else was using actually holds up

6-2/250ish (and shrinking), the WBBB XLC 1.1 dbl works like a charm for me. It is the standard foot box one and I sleep on my left side with no problems...heck I sleep in almost any position in it with no problems. Went from a 1.7 dbl BB to the 1.1 dbl XLC, prefer the feel of the 1.1 fabric.

So...for some reason I just caught this. My XLC is on the way, but I still have the old version of the WB Edge tarp. It won't work will it? So far its the only tarp that I own. Any suggestions?

Great picts shug. Is your new XLC a 1.7 single layer?
This is the first time I've seen picts of a lefty. So cool Brandon offers a lefty/righty models.
