I can't remember if I ever posted in the intro section. I hail from South Bend, IN and have been camping in a hammock for ... OH about 2008. I first joined this forum to glean as much info about hammock camping as I could before I took the plunge. I am a fair weather camper and love sleeping in my hammock. I bought a Skeeter Beater Pro off this forum from heescha and continue to use it camping with my scouts.
I found a lawson blue ridge on craigslist that I purchased and it should be arriving any day now. Can't wait to get it put up in the back yard. I'm going to stop after work and pick up the lumber and hardware for a TDS, so I have something to hang it from.
So that's my story.
