    New to HF in NC

Long time hiker and camper. Gave up because sleeping on the ground was no longer my idea of fun. About 2 years ago I stumbled into camping with a hammock and I haven't been the same since. I read, watched videos and used this forum to learn what I could (can). I was able to take several hammocks for a test drive and in April I went the Warbonnet way. I love my hammock more than I love my bed. Just bought eye bolts to see if I can hang in the house.
I'm heading to Stone Mtn NC tomorrow-any tips or suggestions are always welcome.

Glad to be part of the HF forum.
    Kim

Welcome aboard, Kim. The weather is turning cooler and I envy you your trip, but I'll be out in the back yard test driving my setup tonite or tomorrow.
    Cheers.

    Welcome shoebird.
    Enjoy Stone Mountain.
If you are backpacking, there are some threads on here about good sites. Otherwise, enjoy yourself and the WB hammock.

Hey Shoebird, welcome. I haven't written my introduction post, but I could almost copy and paste yours and it would be close. I'm Charlotte based, so we might cross paths at some point.

I hope your Stone Mtn trip was a good one. Weather was great this weekend. I was out with my six yr old at Kings Mtn for his first hang. Good trip. Think about posting some trip photos.

Crayons - they might look different, but they all taste the same
