Yep, leaving tonight, staying until Sunday. It's my daughter's birthday backpacking trip weekend. I don't think you could ask for better weather.
Have a good time, and if you see an old man and a teenage girl with Hammockforum biners on their packs, say "Hi."

I'm shooting for and overnighter next weekend with a newbie.
Weather was perfect, especially for the view from Hanson's Point. More than the usual crazy drunks out there making noise all night. It was a free pass weekend, so more crowded, like a holiday weekend. If the weather holds, next weekend should be better.
