    my tripod stand i use fence top rail, does it have to be conduit???? way to heavy with conduit.

    If these fit a "2x2" which is actually 1 1/2 why couldn't one just use some
    1 1/2 pipe/conduit and it would work just fine......no?

    Anyway I can't wait to get mine

    If the 1.5 conduit actually measures 1.5 outter diameter then yes, that would work quite well.
