    Larks head

Is a larks head enough when connecting a whoopie or continuous loop to channel end of a hammock or should I be doing something else?

I have a small set of continuous loops on my hammock holding the gathered end together and it seems to be working. I just want to make sure it's safe enough or if I should do something else

My full time hammock is just lark headed dogbones to the gathered end. No whipping or anything else. Been 7 months and all is well.

    I did make two wraps.

A single run through the the channel and larks head is perfectly fine.

I used to be scared of this, but after a while, its all about how u see it. countless folks here, its sufficient, took me a bit to get comfortable, but im feel real good that folks on the forms are good about giving you honest feedback.

for me I tested it, got 3 of us in a hammock using just a simple Larkshead. no issues. so. . i feel its good.

My first hammocks were of the table cloth variety. Zip tied the gathered ends and then a larks head never had a problem with any failures. The nice thing was it made it easy to try different methods of gathering the ends.
I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.
