Baby hammock...?

Has anyone, or does anyone, use a hammock for their baby/young child? I've put our 4 month old in my ENO SN a few times and he loves it. It serves as a swaddle as he's restricted from bring his arms out and down. He kicks and flails his arms up and down playing which causes it to swing naturally rocking him to sleep. We're seriously tossing around the idea of making a small hammock and hooking it up just above his crib. I'm rather new to hammocking and have never done a hammock related DIY so I'd love to hear some tips/advice from those who've done it or are doing it.

suffocation is the number one way that infants up to age 1 die due to accident, and is the second biggest cause of accidental death in minors behind teenage car accidents. The suffocation deaths are caused by wedging (like between a bed and wall, or in the quilting of an adult mattress ), obstruction (something caught on head), entrapment (head stuck) and hanging (caught on clothing) I haven't heard of a baby suffocating on a hammock , but i think putting a baby on a hammock would increase the chance of all of these risks.

I am not usually worrier about such things, but it's a risk I wouldn't take with my baby. Sorry for being a downer.
