I just got back from a rather rainy weekend in Yellowstone. My first outing as a card-carrying hanger. It was wet, but still beautiful. My Warbonnet Ridgerunner and UQ arrived in time for the trip. I was going to run with a cheap Home Depot blue tarp, but ordered a Hennessy Hex JUST before the trip and it arrived from Amazon in about 18 hours (THAT is crazy fast). I stayed warm and dry each night but didn't sleep well. That was only because I was USRE I was going to get wet somehow and kept waking up fearing a wet quilt. That never happened.
Kept my jacket rolled up under my knees. Tied my shoes together in a bow and hung them over the suspension triangle where it attaches to the hammock. Everything stayed nice and dry. Fantastic product that I"ll be using a LOT.
