That was a very good video in showing the set-up. When I hung the yeti I did put it around the suspension straps. Now I'll try just putting it around the knot on the end. Certainly looks easier. Not sure why it would make a difference in the quilt moving around other then it being tighter.

When I first got the yeti I was hooking it over the suspension lines, but then switched to just over the whipping, because it was easier and convenient. Incidents of slippage increased although never a problem or annoyance for me but when I switched back seemed to dissapear pretty much altogether. I have no good explanation as to why but it seems to work(for me).
I thought I was wrong once, turns out I was wrong about that.

I hear those yeti's are pretty nice. Brandon says someday...someday he'll make me a real nice one. Leave him alone so he can get back to work!

Anyone have numbers on the difference in the two Yeti's? I just wanted to know an average temperature rating for a Winter vs. the other one

He hasn't finalized the Winter Yeti design yet, but last year's test model has taken me below zero without supplemental pads under my torso. The 3-season took me into the high 20s. I am a warm sleeper, so take that into consideration.
    Trust nobody!

I know. I think I had steak on my mind . Both times now, our trip and the northern hang, I missed out on a few details. Must have been the fire water. Hope your trip went well and you converted a few more folks to hangers. I'm leaving to hang on Manitou Island in a couple of days. This will be my first time out with the Yeti and I was concerned about being too warm.

yeah, on the zip side, it should hug you around your shoulder, that keeps it efficient and snug against you. keeps the heat from getting out the sides of the quilt
