I don't own a Blackbird hammock (yet ), but I learned some things and really enjoyed watching them!

    Thanks a bunch!

I went out and took a quick video as to how I do my stake knots. It is pretty much the same idea.

good deal, should be able to cinch it down and then tie it off that way if you're line is too slick to otherwise hold, i like how you can ratchet down on the line without tying any knots at all really.

that's a nice simple way of tying it off.

Great videos -- very helpful!!! It constantly amazes me how you've thought through all the little details.

Its also real nice to "meet the maker" as I never make it out to your part of the country.

Great videos! Looking forward to trying the line/stake idea. The Superfly looks awesome. I may need to get one of those.

    Great videos

Great job on the videos WBG. Your wife did a good job with the editing. Everything looked very smooth. I also like the way you and ATTROLL do you stakes. I do not have any of the groundhogs yet but that might be a reason enough to get some...

You may want to hold off on getting some groundhogs stakes. I am looking into a group buy of those in the near future.

Goinggear.com has some tri stakes almost identical to groundhogs for a dollar each. I have both groundhogs and these. They don't come with the string attached. I ordered mine a few months ago they were just a bit shorter than the groundhogs. I didn't see any differences in functionality.

Edit: See Ricegravy post for picture of differences.
