Really impressed by what I've seen in your pics and videos, I can tell lots of tinkering and trials went into the end products. Curious - what are the stretchy pockets on the backpack made of? I've been thinking about adding some stretchy pockets to a DIY hammock and haven't yet found what I'm looking for. TIA.
It is a very alert, active sheep, with a stylish, lively carriage.

I use a Juki & Pfaffs w/ assorted attachments, and have serviced lots of vintage machines. Any questions?

Thank you for the compliment. Yes, there has been a lot of tinkering with the design over the last several years to get it ready. The mesh is a 4-way stretch lycra mesh. It is hard to find, but last I saw you might be able to pick some up with Quest Outfitters. Best of luck.

ANNOUNCEMENT! I am stepping down as an official vendor. My with and I are adopting a little boy from China. My family must come first and I wanted to ensure the speediest service to all of my past customers and anyone thinking of purchasing from me in the future. After producing the Whisper series of hammocks since July of 2013, and officially opening the business in October of 2014, I have decided to hand off production to Alex at Sheltowee Hammock Company for all of our Whisper Series Hammocks. I have always seen Sheltowee Hammock Company as a partner in the insulated hammock market and look forward to seeing them expand on our design. Ben, at Goosefeet Gear, will be taking over manufacturing my Igneous Socks. I have not found anyone to continue production on my packs.

I have been so thankful to the many who have supported me during the last five years in the industry. I will continue to enjoy God's creation through hammock camping and fully plan to introduce little Levi to the woods soon.

I read this announcement with mixed emotions. A heart felt congratulations on your growing family! Also, a sadness that you are exiting the market. I am glad that your innovations will carry on through other vendors and wish you all the best on your new adventures!

Jeremy, FireInMyBones, I had good fortune to see you set up your hammock, tarp, and insulation at John Rock Hang. I was amazed, you set up completely and got in hammock in less than 120 seconds while talking with me and not at all in a hurry.
Your modesty and strong faith coupled with amazing brain power and perseverance are a comfort to all who are with you.
Maybe I’ll get to see you and yours at a hang,
    Always a blessing, thanks

I made the announcement with mixed emotions. Thank you for the well wishes. I will likely continue to design (as I am forever the tinkerer).

PG, I hope to see you again soon. I'll likely be at the John Rock Hang for some fellowship, if not for an overnight. I do enjoy the speed of the Whisper's setup, which is why I'm glad that more people will be able to have access to it through Sheltowee Gear.

Exciting times indeed! Thank you for the congratulations. I hope to hang out with you again sometime. Perhaps with our children and doggos.

First: Congrats, and best luck on your adoption proceedings!

Second: Aw, dang! I contacted you last summer about a hammock, but couldn't get the money together in time. Thanks for making such a great design -- when I can afford it, I'll be sure to contact Sheltowee about getting one.
