WB Superfly or OES Four Season for a WBBB?

Wondering which four season tarp to get for my WBBB... the OES is a full 12 feet long... which may or may limit setup locations?

    Any experiences or personal preferences?

I've had both and I prefer the WBSF. Unless it's changed, the OES is a rectangle with cat cuts so when closing the the ends there was always a gap. On the SF, the doors are cut to overlap when closed so there is no opening. Workmanship was about the same and OES has issues with correspondence at times. I'd go with WB.

For me personally, 12ft. would be, too much for me for a lot of circumstances, and that is funny cause, I live in Michigan and we have no shortage of trees per say.......... There has been a major shift of tarp preferences over the last couple years.. Used to be, see how little tarp you could get away with, and learn the art of site selection, wind and batten down the hatches sort of attitude..
Now it is full luxury coverage, the bigger the better, kind of thing. And with cuben fiber available it isn't really a bad choice at times..
All I can add here is 11ft. rl. is plenty to stay dry without worries, if you need the extra mental comfort go 12..
    Have fun either way..
We would be one step closer to world peace, if everyone slept in a hammock..

I'd take a pass on OES due to customer service issues. I also think a 12 ft. ridgeline is a bit overkill. Unless you have a 12 ft. hammock, 11 ft. should be fine.

I freakin Love my SF! Should have been the first and only tarp I ever purchased. It works absolutely perfect with the WBBB.

I love my WB SF. It fits great under my 11' hammock. Great product, quality service, reliable.

I have an oes winter tarp. It's huge. I only use it when I hang two hammocks under it with the wife. Probably overkill for one hammock. The doors do not close all the way. Great craftsmanship and I did not have the customer service issues others have had. YMMV.

    Thanks guys!

I'd also like to add that I currently own an OES MacCat Standard... It's a great tarp and correspondence was snappy with both WB and OES for me!

Either way, sounds like the gap in the doors kind of defeats the purpose. So SF it is!

Here's a link to a FaceBook album of a recent trip. It should work even for non-FaceBookers.
