I had considered using my body slick stuff if we had to stay. I'm sure it would have helped as its water repellent and wax like. Cleaning it off before sealing would have been hard though.
Like others have said, don't pitch in porch mode during rain. My Superfly's first time out, was in a down pour. In porch mode, they seeped a little, but when I dropped it down, it stopped. I just sealed it last weekend. Take your time and let it dry. I left mine outside until a thunderstorm came up, then I moved it to the garage to hang"inside out" overnight. I only sealed the inside of the pullouts. The Permatex flowable windshield silicon worked awesome! Cut the applicator nozzle to the smallest hole possible and squeeze a bead on all threads. That's it. I didn't smear with a brush or my finger. I just pushed the applicator slightly into the threads. Made a neater looking job. Hope that helps.

Well, I lucked out -- the rain never came. Next campout isn't until November, so I should have plenty of time to seal before then.
Thanks for all the tips -- they should come in handy.
