I've been in the cabin a few times. The fire observers usually welcome the company.

That picture is awesome because if you pan up, it shows how that whole tower is held together.

On the other hand, almost the entire horizon is lined up with the horizontal window pane divider, so you can't see me standing on a craps table, dancing and singing in AC.

Yeah, that window pane divider kinda takes away a little of the awesomeness. Been thinking if it's possible to hang a hammock on the tower somewhere above the treeline.

Wow that is a really cool 360 view

The cabin is 7' x 7', so that's a diagonal of 9' 9" and gets a little longer as you work your way down. I think it's doable.

Yes! We can hang the bear bag off the cable with rope & carabiner. Don't need a hungry bear after the Packit Gourmet!
