    is this normal

    Is this normal for amsteel to have this look
    just want to make sure all is ok
    the whoopie sling on other end does not look as stretched out like this one.

    Yes! As yooz85 warned, watch for broken threads, but deformation around the whoopie exits is a normal thing.

    The easiest way to do that is to sit in your under quilt after a water break at 3:00am. Lol

    My son got that one done last week.
    his stock HH rope did not hold in the rapel rings.
    he droped to ground but not real fast.

    At least it was an accident (I hope not that kind of "accident" followed) and not something that had intent - like my desire to see if one of those $1.00 "key fob" carabiners would work in hammock suspension.
