Proper hang for a bridge hammock?

I bought a bridge hammock last week from krshome here on the forum. When I got home today it was waiting at the door. I was like a kid in a candy store, just couldn't wait to get that box open. After I opened it up, I hung it in my living room to get a first look at it. It's awesome, I can't wait to try it out. I am a virgin when it comes to bridge hammocks. I'm not sure how to properly set the suspension. Should it be lose with some sag like my whipped end hammock or do I need to pull it tight? From most of the pics and vids I've seen it looks like the hammock is pulled very tight. Thanks for any help.

I hang my bridge hammock with 20° instead of 30° for the suspension lines.

There is no set rule. If you go too tight it will get real tippy fast. Just experiment until it feels the best for you.

Here's mine. I like my head about 5" higher than my feet.

Okay, yours looks like it has some sag for sure. I see yours has a ridge line, do I need a ridge line? Is that where you get the sag? Like a ridge line on a whipped hammock to get a flat lie?
I'm going out of town the next couple days for work and plan on taking it with me to see how it works outdoors. Really looking forward to trying this out.

I keep my WBRR suspension pretty tight. To me it is more comfortable that way. Since my trees are decently far apart I can keep my suspension about chest high and the hammock stays pretty flat (not sagging much).

That removeable RL is just to hold the bug net more off my face. It is not required for anything else.

I get a very nice flat lay when on my side.

Cool, I see you have a UQ on there also. I have a full length Wilderness Logics I'm hoping will work. It doesn't have to be a UQ made just for a bridge hammock does it?

Nope. It does help if its a rectangle style UQ instead of an UQ with darts in it to "gather" the ends.

For the WBRR, Brandon recommends about 25* instead of 30*, but, many found about 20* is right for them.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

Nope I have two WL full length UQ's and both fit perfectly.
If you add 4 plastic s-biners. One on each ring its much nicer than hooking the UQ shockcord over/around the ring/spreader bar.

i found adding 4 pieces of 3/8 wide and 1" long pieces of grossgain sewn flat onto the hammock body and then sewing 4 of dutches quilt hooks to my uq to hook onto those tabs really helped close up the gaps on my uq......i sewed the tabs about 2.5' from each end so they were evenly spaced between the ends of the hammock......hope that makes sense
