I plan to buy a Warbonnet Ridgerunner soon and need your expert advice on which suspension to choose - whoopie slings or webbing with buckles.
I currently have two ENO DN hammocks and use the stock suspension, so I have no experience with whoopies or buckles.
I weigh up to 235 lbs when I've not been hiking much, so I will likely go for the double-layer hammock. Otherwise, I plan to outfit my gear as light as possible for all other equipment, with the goal of going UL. I hike mostly in the mountains of NC - typically spring, summer, and fall.
Which suspension do you recommend and why?
Thanks!
Kimchi
