    Looking for overnights near Charleston, WV Any ideas

    I'm looking for convenient overnighters to do in the Charleston, West Virginia area. Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.....

    Keeping in mind that my idea of convenient may be a little skewed, because I typically travel 8 to 12 hours for a trip, but I see two decent options for the Charleston area: The Cranberry Wilderness - 2.5 hours to the East, and Red River Gorge, 2.5 hours to the West.
