There are a lot of great things about this video--best one is your umbrella. GREAT work, man.
So i'm not sure who manufactured that stove. I reasonably sure that it is a titnaum goat stove. If it is, it not the lightest Titanium goat stove. They actully offer a complete backpacking stove that weighs 1lb 11 oz.
I assume that is a urthane coated tarp. I would be nervous with a sil nylon tarp with that set up.
Smoke house is a member here. And a great guy.
Ambulo tua ambulo.
+2
Had to look up that stove based on the weight you posted and boy was I impressed , but the price sorta scared me . I've been looking for a wood burning stove and so far had been eying a woodgas stove (1 lb 7 oz.) for $50.
If it is that stove how do you find it to be redwood?
Smoke House has a post here showing off his tarp. I stumbled into it a while back. I'd love to build something like that for a week long camp out with the dogs.
Awwwwww, I see RED has found my youtube videos. That 1st one I tried putting together and it didn't load well on Youtube.... Here is another video alittle better...

Hulk, the fabric is 1.1 sil and weighs 1lb 14oz minus cord & stakes. I mainly use the shelter as a base camp when hunting and cold. Used many many times and never had an issue. The stove is a small TI box that weighs 2lbs 9oz. Doug from TI Goat does a great job.
Turk has some videos of the large TI stove.
Gargoyle, tks for the kind words.
I have not been on here much, been so busy... I'm In the process of getting another sewing machine and making a Honeymoon tarp for 2 hammocks. UncleMJM came up with that name...
If your ears were burning last weekend, it's because Old Gringo and I were talking about you while at the Texas Hang. I hope all is well in Arkansas and that you killed something during opening weekend for us to sample next time we get to hang in your back yard.
BTW, I had the Kelty's Noah 12 set up as the Honeymoon Suite at this last hang - it worked, but I am still looking forward to your creation, but only in a time frame that works for you easily.
Smokehouse, how wide is that tarp setup? I assume it's rectangular with the front and back (doors) added on after you get the almost tent shape?
I've got about 15 yards of white silnylon I was thinking about making into a setup like yours. It's been an inspiration since I saw your photos here in the forums.
