Well I just got back from my first Backpacking trip with a hammock! It was a short one... Two nights, in fact. I really liked it! Hammock camping is almost like a club, I've noticed...

Hey BTC2, welcome from Ohio. Congrats on your maiden voyage! You'll be making memories from here on out. Lots of good folks here on HF.
We keep our horse at a local stable with about 80 acres of woods. Once the work is done...it's off to the trees for a little siesta.
