dang it
Well, y'all get the idea. Great quilt stormcrow!
LOL. Too funny. Hey SG, looks like you need to cinch the end a little more in that third pic. It might get a little chilly tonight if you dont...
Thank you all for the kind words. I am responding to PM's now. I had to get some sleep since i work the "3rd shift" here at home. It seems to be the only time the kids aren't bouncing off of the walls. The kitchen becomes "Sewing Central" during the wee hours of the night...
Thanks again

Mine will too Stormcrow in 20 days
can't wait to play with my new sewing machine
It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold
Enjoy!!!

sarah, others...did your quilts have any cord/line locks n the end channels to sinch the ends up? If not, what did you use?

Hey Sarahgirl glad You like it. Stormcrow that turned out awsome. Might have to send you a message about one.
Don't think you will be dissapointed. I slept without a pad last night, 17* and I only had one cold spot at my butt. I didnt have the ends cinched up very tight, I think that was the problem. Other than that, I was quite toasty
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep one's nose from freezing? It was a little numb when I woke up in the wee hours this morning. Do they make balaclavas (sp?) that are breathable?
Hey SarahGirl,
What's your sleeping bag rated at, and did you have to use a TQ or anything else inside the hammock?
Man that's pretty impressive if using just a bag.
As for your nose, have you tried something like this?
