I'm looking for anyone who has been using 2.8mm Reflect-It for their hammock suspension (UCR or Whoopies). From what i understand, the Reflect-It is the same thing as the Amsteel 7/64, but with the tracer added, and it doesn't have the slick coating that the amsteel has. I just made a pair of whoopies from the Reflect-It for my hammock suspension, but notice that it gets a little snaggy in the bury when adjusting the length, due to the lack of coating as well as the metallic tracer edge catching the rope fibers when not perfectly flat within the braid. Would love to hear if anyone is using these, and if they have seen any issues at all with them, concerning durability or fibers getting frayed from moving back and forth in the bury along the tracer. TIA!
